MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WBMA) — Governor Kay Ivey announced Thursday that she has set the execution time frame for Charles Lee Burton to begin at 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026, and expire on Friday, March 13, 2026.
According to the governor’s office, the execution is scheduled to be carried out by nitrogen hypoxia.
