West Palm Beach, FLA. (WPEC) — South Florida is waking up to colder conditions this morning following the passage of a cold front, but a warming trend is expected to take hold as the weekend progresses. While temperatures are well below average early today, much milder weather is on the way.
Cold air continues to filter into the region this morning on north-northwest winds. Temperatures across much of inland South Florida have dropped into the mid-30s to near 40 degrees, with wind chills making it feel even colder – especially across inland communities.
