H-E-B has quietly staked out a big new foothold in Terrell, snapping up roughly 90 acres on the eastern edge of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, according to county filings and local reporting. The purchase, recorded late last year, is the latest in a string of land grabs by the San Antonio grocer as it slowly widens its North Texas footprint.
