Derrick Perkins sentencing delayed to March 30

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The sentencing for Derrick Perkins, also known as Stanka, has been pushed back to March 30 due to delays in receiving a pre-sentence investigation report.

Judge Carson Marcantel said a report from the pre-sentence investigation he ordered has not arrived. The judge said he learned from meetings with other judges and court officials that an internal transition is causing delays in the system.
