Historic location in Green Bay announces closure with building up for sale

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A historic Green Bay business announced that it is closing for the near future as owners seek to find a potential buyer.

The Ten O One Club or 1001 Club, which has gone under multiple names in its 118 years. But, now, the building’s owner says it is not viable in its current form.

“I always tell our managers that business is simply assuring that revenue is $1 more than expenses,” owner Steve Schneider said on Facebook. “We have been unable to achieve that simple assurance, ever, in the past three years.”

Ownership will maintain the location for catered and special events until the building is sold, as multiple conversations have already taken place with ‘seemingly significant interest.’ The post says the restaurant business will be marketed for outright or seller-financed sale…
