5 wanted for shooting at man who exited gas station

ST. LOUIS – District 3 detectives from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) are searching for five men wanted in connection to a shooting at a gas station in South St. Louis last month.

According to SLMPD, officers responded to a QuikTrip in the Gravois Park neighborhood after reports of gunfire on the evening of Jan. 20. Detectives say the victim, an adult male, was leaving the gas station when five men began shooting at him.

Police say the victim escaped from the gunfire with no injuries. However, the QuikTrip did sustain ballistic damage to its exterior. Detectives are still working to determine the motive of the shooting, as well as identify all five suspects.
