A Los Angeles, California, man has been sentenced in federal court for directing a multi-state drug-trafficking operation involving more than 122 kilograms — approximately 269 pounds — of methamphetamine.
Dejuan Tyrone Parker, 38, received a 25-year federal prison sentence without parole after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. He was also sentenced to 20 years without parole for conspiracy to commit money laundering. U.S. District Judge Stephen R. Bough ordered the two sentences to run concurrently. In addition to prison time, the court imposed a $400,000 money judgment representing proceeds Parker obtained directly and indirectly from methamphetamine distribution during the charged conspiracy. Parker entered his guilty plea on March 31, 2025.
Court records state that during 2023, investigators received credible intelligence that Parker was transporting large quantities of methamphetamine from Los Angeles to the Springfield, Missouri, area for redistribution.
