Wichita State’s NIAR gets contract to help with ‘Golden Dome’ missile defense shield

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita State University’s National Institute for Aviation Research has been awarded a contract to help set up a missile defense shield over the U.S.

The goal is to create a “Golden Dome” over the U.S. and its territories to protect them from the threat of ballistic, hypersonic and cruise missiles, as well as other aerial attacks.
