Henderson Biker Dies In Rush-Hour Crash At Russell And Stephanie

A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night after a collision with a pickup truck at the busy intersection of Russell Road and Stephanie Street in Henderson, turning the evening commute into a crime scene investigation.

The crash happened just after 6:15 p.m. The rider was rushed to a hospital, where they later died. In the aftermath, police shut down northbound Stephanie at Stufflebeam Avenue and eastbound Russell at U.S. 95 for several hours while investigators documented the scene and cleared debris.

According to FOX5, Henderson Police said the pickup driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with officers. Detectives are still working to determine how the collision unfolded. Officials warned early on that the closures could last for hours and urged drivers to steer clear of the area and use alternate routes while the work continued.

Intersection Has A History Of Serious Crashes

Russell and Stephanie are no strangers to tragedy.
