BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Wasco police will increase patrols for residents’ safety during the Big Game weekend on February 7-8, as announced by the department on social media.
Officers will be looking for drivers suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. They will also be enforcing traffic safety.
Chief Alecio Mora stated, “Super Bowl celebrations are about enjoying time with friends, family, and our Wasco community. We encourage everyone to plan ahead and make safe choices. If you’re drinking, use a designated sober driver, rideshare, taxi, or public transportation so everyone gets home safely.”…
