A Florida woman is facing charges for allegedly fleeing the scene of a crash, “washing herself” in a stranger’s swimming pool then “attacking” his three dogs when confronted, authorities said.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Loyola Avenue and Vesper Court in Lehigh Acres at around 8:30 a.m. Monday. The victim reported that a woman ran a stop sign, struck his truck, then fled on foot into a nearby wooded area.
Soon after, deputies received a call from a homeowner about a mile away reporting a female trespasser was washing herself in his swimming pool. When he confronted her, she allegedly proceeded to hit, drag and kick three dogs…
