Students walk out at multiple Fresno, Clovis schools in anti-ICE protests

High school and middle school students at nearly a dozen schools marched in several parts of Fresno, Clovis and Madera on Friday, marking another day of anti-ICE walkouts in the region.

In Fresno, about 300 students walked out of Roosevelt High School, marching to City Hall before continuing toward the Fresno Unified School District administrative building on Tulare Street.

Fresno Unified spokesperson Diana Diaz said students from Yosemite Middle School, Duncan Polytechnical High, Ahwahnee Middle School, Fort Miller Middle School, Roosevelt and McLane participated in Friday’s walkouts…
