CHP Graduates 129 New Officers, Including Victorville Native Shahrzad Nazari

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The California Highway Patrol graduated 129 cadets from Cadet Training Class IV-25 on Friday at the CHP Academy in West Sacramento, marking the beginning of their service as sworn officers assigned throughout California.

Among the graduates is Shahrzad Nazari of Victorville, making the ceremony a local milestone for the High Desert. Nazari has been assigned to duty at the CHP’s Barstow Area office, where she will begin field training later this month.

“These new officers represent the future of public safety in California. The badge they were given is on loan from the people of this state, and every day they must earn the right to wear it through professionalism, ethical conduct and accountability to the public they serve,” said CHP Commissioner Sean Duryee…
