Police Sgt. Keith Gasco, a 14-year member of the Millbury Police Department, remains hospitalized after being shot during the standoff at a Spencer shopping plaza.
Gasco, 37, was a member of the regional tactical unit that exchanged gunfire with a suspect from an earlier shooting. The man, who barricaded himself in the bathroom area of a Family Dollar store, was shot to death after firing at the officers, wounding Gasco.
