Woman pleads guilty to tampering with evidence in child death case

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A woman has pleaded guilty in connection with the death of her boyfriend’s 1-year-old son.

29-year-old Jazzmine Huffman has pled guilty to tampering with evidence related to the death of 23-year-old Braxton Trollinger in 2023.

An autopsy report revealed that the toddler’s cause of death was blunt force trauma and burn injuries. Prosecutors allege that Kenyon Johnson, Huffman’s boyfriend, concealed the injuries rather than get the child treatment…
