Former LAPD Officer Sues City Over Hostile Work Environment for Female Cops

A former Los Angeles police officer is suing the city, alleging she was wrongfully fired on a false allegation of domestic violence and that there is a hostile work environment for females at the LAPD.

Ex-Officer Tawny D. Ramirez’s Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit allegations include discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, intentional misrepresentation and breach of written contract. She seeks unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.
