RANKIN CO., Miss. (WLBT) – Multiple fire departments responded to an out-of-control brush fire which left one person injured Friday.
At approximately 3:12 p.m. Feb. 6, the Puckett Fire Department, Cato Volunteer Fire Department, Robin Hood Volunteer Fire Department, and the Shell Oil Volunteer Fire Department responded to reports of a brush fire in the area of Warren Hill Road, south of New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Upon arrival at the scene, fire units contacted the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office after discovering a landowner doing brush control had been injured while attempting to put out the fire…
