City seeks bids on landscaping work

The City of Clinton plans to kick off its spring landscaping efforts in March after hiring a contractor and getting advice from a consultant on what kind of seasonal plants to use. The Board of Aldermen at its meeting on January 20 voted to advertise a Request for Proposals (RFP) for landscaping and grounds maintenance services in the city.

Jared Acy with WAS Design is a landscape architect who helped fine-tune the language in the RFP so that the City could better compare the bids it receives and have more control over what the finished product looks like.
