Illinois Man Charged After Hidden Camera In Bathroom Recorded Juveniles And Adults At New Year’s Eve Party

An Illinois man is facing charges for allegedly placing a hidden camera inside a bathroom during a New Year’s Eve party, recording both adults and minors, authorities said.

The Village of Manhattan Police Department said officers responded on Jan. 1 to a report of suspicious circumstances at a residence on the 24400 block of Arrowhead Drive in Manhattan, a suburb southwest of Chicago. The complainant reported finding a concealed camera in an “inconspicuous location” inside a bathroom at the residence during a New Year’s Eve party.

Investigators executed a search warrant at the home on Jan. 6. On Feb. 4, the Will County State Attorney’s Office approved charges against 44-year-old Jonathan Wisniewski. He is charged with nine felony counts of unauthorized recording of juvenile victims, and five felony counts of unauthorized recording of adult victims…
