NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans Fire Department crews were on the scene of a two-alarm fire in the Filmore neighborhood on Thursday morning, Feb. 5.
The fire reportedly happened in the 4200 block of Cadillac Street around 4:34 a.m. Firefighters arrived at 4:38 a.m. to see the wood-framed home fully engulfed with flames coming through the roof.
One resident told NOFD firefighters that his wife and daughter were able to escape before they arrived and a second alarm was called at 4:43 a.m…
