February 6, 2026 – Ozaukee Co., Wi – The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office is releasing the name of the individual involved in the fatal crash that occurred on Thursday, February 5, 2026, on CTH I north of Cedar Creek Rd. in the Town of Cedarburg:
• Deceased driver of the 2018 Ram pick-up truck: Darren Hess, age 57, of West Bend, WI
Both lanes of CTH I were closed from Cedar Creek Rd. to Pleasant Valley Rd. for approximately 4 hours. At approximately 5:21pm the roadway was reopened.
The crash remains under investigation pending the results of the crash reconstruction, autopsy, and toxicology results…
