Hearst Television’s local station in Kansas City has named Eric Graves as the newest anchor of its weekend morning news program “KMBC 9 FirstNews Weekend,” the company announced on Friday.
Graves, a Lee’s Summit graduate, steps into the role after reporting extensively across the Kansas City metro since joining the station. During his time at KMBC (Channel 9, ABC), he has covered a wide range of local and regional stories and has been recognized internally for his accurate, thoughtful and community-focused reporting approach.
