Entergy Louisiana on Thursday announced the completion of its emergency power restoration efforts in North Louisiana where one of the worst winter storms to strike the region knocked out some residents’ electricity for 11 days, though other scattered outages remain in the area.
In a news release Thursday afternoon, Entergy Louisiana said it had completed its emergency response efforts following a double blast of Arctic weather beginning Jan. 25 and returning about five days later, keeping most of North Louisiana paralyzed with snow, ice and freezing temperatures for over a week.
