KEARNEY, Neb. (WTVO) — A man from Poplar Grove, Illinois, has been arrested in Nebraska for allegedly smuggling 12 pounds of methamphetamine along I-80.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol, on Tuesday, February 3, around 10:30 a.m., troopers stopped a Toyota Camry that was seen speeding over 100 miles per hour near Kearney.
During the traffic stop, “the trooper became suspicious of criminal activity” and conducted a search of the vehicle, at which point 12 pounds of methamphetamine were found hidden inside the body of the car…
