WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Evergy is warning its customers about a new scam in which customers receive a text message claiming that they’ve overpaid on their bill and are due for a refund.
Scammers direct customers to a fake website that at first glance, appears to be from Evergy and to enter personal financial information.
