Sister of car accident victim frustrated to still not have her sister’s remains four months later

DENVER (KDVR) – Four months after her sister was killed, one woman is frustrated that she still hasn’t received her remains.

It began back in October 2025, when 41-year-old Susan Azander Gaymes was struck and killed by a vehicle in a Centennial crosswalk. FOX31’s Nate Belt spoke to her sister, Monet Gaymes-Jeffers, about raising money to send her body to their home country of St. Vincent, an island in the Caribbean.

Four months later, she still can’t believe she hasn’t gotten her sister…
