HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – The snow that is still lingering on the farm of local hobby farmer Glenn Cash is slowly melting away, but that does not mean his job has gotten any easier with the cold temperatures.
“Everything that’s liquid out here right now because of the sun today will be ice tomorrow morning,” Cash said.
The conditions have it difficult for Cash to get his animals in and out of the barn, and even harder for his 2-day-old calf, which was born on the ice outside and couldn’t stand up on its back legs…
