Mass shooting at former short-term rental raises questions about how Columbus tracks problem properties

COLUMBUS, Ohio — According to the Columbus Division of Police Department, on July 4, there was a mass shooting on the city’s south side.

An eyewitness told 10TV it happened at a house party that was held at a short-term rental property. At the time of the shooting, it was listed as a rental on VRBO.
