HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Prosecutors played a recorded police interrogation in Colt Carroll’s murder trial today, allowing jurors to hear the defendant’s own account of the night the victim died.
The 45-minute interview was recorded the day Thompson’s body was found and captured Carroll describing the events of October 15 and 16, 2023, when Thompson died.
According to the recording, Carroll told investigators he and Thompson had been drinking at Bucks Lounge in Guntersville.
