The city of Madison cut the ribbon on its $10 million fire station-public safety annex at Town Madison on Thursday.
“This project represents a major investment in the safety, preparedness and future of our community,” Mayor Ranae Bartlett said. “The public safety annex is 37,500 square-feet on 15 acres dedicated to public safety operations. This campus brings multiple public safety functions together in one centralized location, improving coordination and response times, including the brand-new Fire Station 4, Madison Police and our IT department.”
Bartlett said the annex on Business Park Boulevard “allows the city to plan for growth while making smart, long-term investments in infrastructure.”…
