Ten employees from Decatur Utilities Electric Operations returned home Thursday after assisting Oxford Utilities in Mississippi with power restoration following Winter Storm Fern.
The team spent eight days in Oxford, starting their workdays at 5 a.m. and working late into the night, according to Paul Hughes, a foreman with Decatur Utilities.
