Tennessee Lamb Becomes Courthouse Celebrity and Agriculture Ambassador

If you find yourself walking through one eastern Tennessee courthouse, you may be surprised to see a little lamb trotting along behind you. Don’t be alarmed, just let him get on the elevator, head to the second floor, and go about his new job.

Shrek, a 4-week-old lamb from Anderson County, Tennessee, has become a regular at the county courthouse. His owner calls him a “seasonal, part-time employee.”

Breeanna Stanford, 4-H and agriculture Extension agent in Anderson County, started bringing Shrek to work with her because he’s bottle fed, and his feeding schedule required it…
