BAY MINETTE, Ala. (WKRG) — The developer of a massive solar farm planned for North Baldwin County has agreed to meet with residents in the coming weeks to discuss their plans, according to Baldwin County Commission Chairman Jeb Ball.
4500 acres of timberland, unzoned and unincorporated, is the proposed site for a solar farm in Stockton. Details of the project were made public after a meeting in Montgomery.
“Action taken by the Alabama Public Service Commission approving Alabama Power’s purchase of electricity from a solar development company, Silicon Ranch,” said Ball.
