Pensacola mayor says 311 backlog shrank, with most calls now answered within a week

PENSACOLA, Fla. — If you have a problem in Pensacola, you call 311. But for a long time, it didn’t work.

During the “State of the City Address” Thursday night, Mayor D.C. Reeves said there were thousands of open tickets for 311 when he took office.

Now, he says that number is much lower. 311 Constituent & Parking Services Director Lissa Dees says it’s been hard work to get these requests fulfilled. But now, these 311 calls are responded to within a week at most…
