BOILING SPRING LAKES, N.C. (WECT) – Unique Places to Save has announced the completion of the Boiling Spring Wilderness project, creating a wildlife corridor that connects two previously separated natural areas in Brunswick County.
The 1,040-acre project serves as a bridge between Orton Plantation and the Boiling Spring Lakes Preserve. The connection creates a 10,000-acre continuous protected area for wildlife movement.
