They stood opposite each other, held hands, looked into each other’s eyes for more than just a few seconds, said “I do,” and then they kissed.
“It was very, very nice, it was exciting, it was fun,” said Becky Carr of Sylvania Township. “It was just great to see the smiles on everybody’s faces. I loved everybody here. I loved seeing it all, seeing all the happiness.”
Retirees who first met at an area tennis club, Ms. Carr and her husband, Jim Carr, were among nine married couples who renewed their vows Friday. The Love and Vow Renewal Under the Lights event was held on downtown Sylvania’s Main Street…
