A Florida hospital employee was arrested after she allegedly stole a 94-year-old patient’s wallet and used her credit card for a shopping spree, authorities said.
Bailey Slater, 28, a patient care technician at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital took the victim’s items Jan. 22, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Later that day she was caught on surveillance video at Target spending more than $500 with the victim’s credit cards.
Hospital officials worked with the sheriff’s office to identify Slater. A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she turned herself in Jan. 30. Records show she was released from jail the following day…
