Oklahoma students participate in ICE walkouts

Students in several school districts across Oklahoma are participating in ICE walkouts (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).

Students near Putnam City West High School along Northwest 23rd and Council were seen protesting around 10:30 a.m. on Friday. The crowd blocked traffic along Council as they marched east on 23rd, collecting at a 7-Eleven gas station at the corner.

There were also students near Edmond Memorial High School protesting on Friday.

Mustang Public School students also held a demonstration this week. The district released a statement saying that on Thursday morning, a group of students participated in an unsanctioned demonstration near the Performing Arts Center…
