Appleton woman flown from crash scene with critical injuries, 2 others hospitalized

BLACK CREEK, Wis. (WFRV) – A woman from Appleton was flown from the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Friday with critical injuries.

According to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the intersection of WIS 47 and Brandt Road in Black Creek around 5:40 p.m

Based on the preliminary investigation, a vehicle driven by a 28-year-old woman from Appleton was southbound on State Highway 47 when it lost control, crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic, and hit a northbound SUV.

She was flown to a local hospital with critical injuries. The driver of the SUV, a 39-year-old woman from Brillion, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. A juvenile female passenger in the SUV, also from Brillion, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries…
