Omaha Fire Department offers help installing free carbon monoxide detectors

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Do you have a carbon monoxide detector in your home? If not, the Omaha Fire Department can get one installed there for free.

Any owner of a single-family home located in Omaha and Elkhorn can request a combination smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector via the form (which includes a Spanish translation) on the OFD website:
