Police believe that missing Avondale woman had ‘life-threatening injury’ at time of disappearance

PHOENIX — As the search for missing Avondale woman Isabella Comas continues, police shared Thursday that they believe she had a “life-threatening injury” when she disappeared.

In the update, the Avondale Police Department said based on evidence found in Comas’ car — including a large amount of blood and the front passenger seat being removed — detectives believe she sustained an injury that if left untreated “may be unsurvivable.”

The passenger seat has not been recovered. Police said it is upholstered in brown cloth material and believed to have bloodstains on it…
