HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – In life, Gaylord Rieta was passionate about two things: entertaining an audience and teaching martial arts to his students.
“His classes were tough, but he was never tough with everybody. He would make sure that he would never hurt anybody, and he would give you the opportunity if you couldn’t do it right away, okay, practice it, try it more then do it again,” said Karen Roeller, a close friend of Gaylord.
