HONOLULU (KHON2) — A cold front will move in from the northwest today, reaching Kauai this afternoon and bringing the rain to Oahu and Maui County tonight. Clouds and showers will increase as it passes, then the front will stall over the central islands this weekend. This could lead to heavy rain, flash flooding, and a few thunderstorms from Saturday afternoon through Monday. Winds will turn breezy from the north to northeast tonight and Saturday, then become very strong late Sunday into early next week.
