Xavier Grenon, 27, of Allentown, was found guilty of conspiracy to commit criminal homicide, attempt to commit criminal homicide, and aggravated assault after a five-day trial before Judge Thomas M. Caffrey, District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan said in a release issued Friday, Feb. 6.
The charges stem from the Aug. 31, 2022, killing of Najeer Lane, 22, who was riding in a vehicle driven by Bless Jones when the pair were ambushed while heading to Trout Creek Park, authorities said.
Investigators said Grenon and his co-defendants agreed to meet Jones at the park, then opened fire on the car while it was en route.
