Larceny report leads to three arrests on several charges

BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged three people with several crimes after a report of a larceny.

According to a news release from BCSO, deputies responded to a report of a larceny on Wednesday, Jan. 28, in which they began an investigation.

Detectives obtained and executed two search warrants on a property located at 26 Gillespie Drive in Leicester.

According to the release, James Carroll English, 37, was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Felony possession and receiving stolen goods
  • Obtaining property by false pretense
  • Felony accessing computers for the purpose of fraudulent schemes
  • Conspiracy to obtain property by false pretense
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

English was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Center under no bond.

Aryanna Marie Frady, 30, was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Felony possession and receiving stolen goods
  • Obtaining property by false pretense
  • Felony accessing computers for the purpose of fraudulent schemes
  • Conspiracy to obtain property by false pretense
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Frady was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Center under a $4,500 secure bond issued by a magistrate…
