A Massachusetts police officer has died unexpectedly, according to his department.
The Quincy Police Department regrets to announce the sudden passing of active-duty Police Officer Michael “Mike” P. Howie.
Officer Howie grew up in the Montclair neighborhood of Quincy and graduated from North Quincy High School in 1992. Immediately following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
