CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday life and now appears in classrooms as early as kindergarten, prompting concerns from a University of Virginia pediatrician about how the technology could affect child development.
Dr. Evan Anderson, an assistant professor of pediatrics at UVA School of Medicine who studies how technology shapes development, said parents need to be aware and involved as schools integrate AI tools.
