Following two days of heavy snow and ice, Jan. 24-25, Fluvanna was covered in 6-8 inches of what was quickly dubbed “snowcrete.” Flucos were put out of school for seven school days, two of which were considered remote learning, and even when students returned on Feb. 4, it was to an unprecedented three-hour delay schedule.
Over the unexpected break, many had to discover different ways to spend their time, unable to even leave their driveways. For some students, it was like a dream come true…
