Due to the bitterly cold temperatures on Saturday, staff and volunteers had to make some changes for Winter Discovery Day at Presque Isle. But temperatures in the single digits didn’t stop people from having fun.
Jon DeMarco, the Executive Director of the Presque Isle Partnership said, “It’s just absolutely gorgeous with the sun out. It’s winter and we are embracing it here at Presque Isle.”
Winter Discovery Day gave people the opportunity to learn and play at the peninsula. There were many different activities people could do all day long, everything from ice fishing to learning how to snow shoe.
Presque Isle may be known for its gorgeous summers, but people find plenty of things to do in the other three seasons…
