More than $100K in drugs confiscated in Detroit bust

DETROIT, MI – Detroit police confiscated more than $100,000 in drugs during a bust earlier this week.

Nearly 70 grams of fentanyl, around 2,000 grams of marijuana and 1,000 grams of cocaine were removed during a Feb. 5 search on the 8300 block of E. Jefferson Avenue in Detroit, according to a release from the Detroit Police Department.

Police also seized $340 in cash, three handguns, a rifle and miscellaneous packaging materials. The estimated street value of the narcotics is around $106,000…
